Key — dealing with buildings
We have been making classic real estate into service property since 2015
We have been making classic real estate into service property since 2015
In seven years, Key has gone from being a small tech hub to becoming a major office real estate operator, and as of 2022, the product line has been supplemented with residential and retail products. Key has designed and managed over 300 offices in Moscow, and that's almost 7,000 workspaces.

Our beginnings
Our beginnings
Aida Fazylova and Tatyana Shvetsova opened Key's first tech hub and bar in St. Petersburg in 2014, reworking the American tech hub image to fit St. Petersburg's style. There were educational programs and lectures, techno parties, eSports, and gatherings for young scientists. Key was a club in every sense of the word — a nightclub, an academic club, and a club for interests.

Opening in Moscow
Opening in Moscow
In 2015, Key got a new team, and the project finally went beyond the boundaries of the party. Key relocated from St. Petersburg to Moscow. The team sought coworking premises in Moscow's historical districts and industrial areas. We found the right place in the Tryokhgornaya Manufactory, where Key established its first coworking space. The site was quickly filled with new residents — startups, creative studios, and agencies.

Network expansion
In 2016-2017, Key opened new locations in Moscow: Arma, Moskovsky Sholk, Patriarch's Ponds, and Danilovskaya Manufactory. At the same time, major investors became interested in Key. Igor Rybakov, founder of online store KupiVIP Oskar Hartmann, and former CEO of Otkritie Capital Nikolay Katorzhnov invested 150 million rubles.

Company development
Company development
In 2019, a new team headed up Key, with executives from various industries coming in to manage the project. Along with the new team, the company strategy underwent global change — now it was not only offices and coworking spaces for private residents and small companies, but also operational management of large commercial real estate. Locations opened at Kuznetsky Most, Sirius Park, Sretenka, Taganka, Ostozhenka, and Balchug Sofiyskaya.
